    Have recently discovered Queens bakery as a good place for breakfast (love the bacon baguette) and for tea and cake (massive bit of chocolate fudge cake for less than £2). It isn't as quirky as some nearby (j&f), but it isn't a chain, it's not pretentious, it's just good honest goodness.

    A real old fashioned style cafe/bakery. If you just want a good cup of tea with a cake this is the place to go and being in the centre of headington makes it a perfect break. They sell lovely cakes and specialist breads at a reasonable cost and the staff are friendly.
    Pretty basic interior with no sofas etc but it does the job.
